Dr Amir Khan completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Bronx, New York. This was followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York ( Montefiore Medical center, Jacobi Medical center, Weiler/Einstein center) and fu rther fellowship in Sleep Medicine (adults and pediatrics) at the University of Texas Health Science Center (Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical center) in Houston. His other qualifications include training in England, where he completed a Masters (MSc) degree at London University and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCSI) in Ireland.

Following his training Dr Khan went into practice as a pulmonologist in East Texas for four years as a hospital staff physician, and was also a University of Texas Assistant Professor.

Dr Khan specializes in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine and was selected to train with the pioneering expert in this field - completing a one-year fellowship at the University of Toronto, in Canada.  Here he learned advance therapeutic and diagnostic Pulmonary procedures such as endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy (EBUS) with trans-bronchial needle aspiration, Pleuroscopy and Percutaneous Tracheostomies etc etc.

Dr Khan returned to Texas and currently practices in Waxahachie. He has been a staff physician specialist for Pulmonary/Critical care and Sleep medicine at Baylor Scott & White hospital since July 2014 and is also Director of the Intensive Care department.

Dr Khan board certified in four specialties and board eligible for a fifth (Interventional Pulmonology.) He became a fellow of the College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and a member of the AABIP (American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology) and has served 2 years as ACCP US and Canadian Governors (Texas) Executive Council for ACCP 2012-13. He continues to be involved in academic scholarship and has over 35 peer reviewed publications and several abstracts and presentations in national and international meetings including the American Thoracic Society ATS and American College of Chest Physicians ACCP.

Dr Khan's hobbies include playing squash, marathon running and charitable work for local and national organizations. He is married with three young children.

Dr Mohsin Ijaz MD completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York. This was followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York ( Montefiore Medical center, Jacobi Medical center, Weiler/Einstein center) in 2015 to 2016. Dr Ijaz is board certified in Pulmonary medicine and has a keen interest in Critical Care medicine including ultrasound techniques to critically unwell patients

Dr. Theophilus T Ogungbamigbe, MD, is an Internal Medicine specialist. He attended and graduated from medical school in 1986, having over several years of diverse experience, especially in Internal, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. He is affiliated with many hospitals in the past including Denton Regional Medical Center, Medical Center Of Lewisville, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. Dr. Theophilus Ogungbamigbe also cooperates with other doctors and physicians in medical groups.
